Christmas Tree

When Itchy asked me where I planned to put the Christmas tree I nearly fell over. He brought it up. I hadn't told him that I wanted a tree this year. He didn't even say anything about not having a tree, he just wanted to know where I was going to put one.

Of course, that was because we don't have space for one. I think he was trying to tell me that we weren't going to get one. But since he was being subtle I told him I'd find a spot. Ha ha dude. You are the grinch that tries to ruin my fun, you can't turn this around and make me be the one that ruins this. Not happening.

Now, of course, that the tree has been purchased Itchy is being an ass about it. He doesn't want anything to do with it. He didn't want a tree. He doesn't want to celebrate Christmas. He doesn't understand why I want to. He doesn't want the kids to celebrate. GRINCH. He's trying to ruin it. Seriously he is just an old grouch. I hope he's happy in the retirement home I'm sending him to.

He can't keep the religious aspect out of it. Whereas I, the heathen that I am, celebrate the commercialism of it. And the spending time with family stuff. And the cookies! I love the cookies.

Oops, posted too soon. Got caught distracted thinking about cookies.

He didn't celebrate as a kid, since it's not a Muslim holiday. It's impossible for him to see it as anything but a Christian holiday. He wants nothing to do with it.
